Computer Skills Training Programs

For your convenience, we offer two FREE INFORMATION SESSION options. One is an IN-PERSON session at our Boston location, and the other is a LIVE ONLINE session via Zoom. These sessions are held every other TUESDAY and THURSDAY on alternating weeks, from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM.

Programs We Will Cover During the Info Session

For BEGINNERS we have...

ABLE BEGINNINGS

Covers basic computer and job search skills, instructor-led 7-week program.  Learn Computer Basics, Windows and File Management, as well as KEYBOARDING, Mouse and Touch Pad, Internet, Email/Gmail, and Remote Learning Skills via Zoom.

 

For INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED users, we have...

SKILLS2WORK

Covers Microsoft Office Skills training for the Intermediate user, as well as, strong Job Readiness and Career Development Skills in a 12 week program.  Learn Intermediate through Advanced Topics in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.  INSTRUCTOR-LED training in a virtual classroom environment through Zoom video conferencing.

MEDICAL OFFICE COMPUTER SKILLS TRAINING

Covers the admin skills required for the healthcare field, instructor-led program. We offer an 8-week and 12-week class. The Medical Office Skills training class prepares participants for jobs in medical office registration/administration, such as Patient Service Coordinator, Patient Access Representative, and Medical Office Administrative Assistant.

TOPIC-SPECIFIC REFRESHER COMPUTER SKILLS CLASSES

Topics include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Other topics cover social media strategies for job seekers, online job search planning, and much more.
